Business Systems Analyst – Marketing Technology (Hybrid, Burnaby BC)

We have an opportunity for a Senior Business Systems Analyst – Marketing Technology to join our IT Business Systems – Marketing Technology team in Burnaby, reporting to the Strategic Product Owner – IT/Marketing. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, optimization, and governance of our marketing technology ecosystem, connecting Salesforce, marketing automation, and related platforms to deliver scalable, data-driven go-to-market capabilities. Collaborating closely with Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, Business Systems, Data & Analytics, and IT Security, you will translate marketing and sales strategies into system capabilities, streamline lead and campaign processes, and ensure high-quality data that powers robust reporting and insights across the revenue lifecycle. You will be part of a highly collaborative team that prioritizes innovation, process excellence, and professional growth in the marketing technology and CRM space. You must live in the Vancouver metro area.  This is a hybrid work role with two days a week onsite in the Burnaby office.  

Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do

  • Lead requirements refinement with Marketing, Sales, and Operations stakeholders to define scalable processes for lead management, campaign execution, and account-based programs
  • Translate business requirements into clear, testable user stories, process flows, and functional specifications for CRM and marketing automation enhancements
  • Design and configure solutions in Salesforce and connected marketing tools to support campaigns, journeys, scoring, attribution, and customer lifecycle programs
  • Optimize integrations between CRM, marketing automation, data enrichment, and analytics platforms to ensure accurate, timely data flow across systems
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across marketing and sales systems, including standards for leads, contacts, accounts, campaigns, and preferences
  • Partner with Data & Analytics teams to enable meaningful reporting and dashboards across Salesforce and BI tools, supporting pipeline, attribution, and performance insights
  • Drive continuous improvement of lead routing, scoring, segmentation, and nurture processes in partnership with Marketing Operations and Sales leadership
  • Document system designs, configurations, and processes, and develop training materials that enable self-service usage and consistent adoption across teams
  • Collaborate with project managers and peers to plan and execute releases, manage dependencies, and ensure high-quality delivery across concurrent initiatives
  • Evaluate emerging marketing and sales technologies, recommend options based on business value and technical fit, and support vendor assessments and proof-of-concepts

Be Prepared — What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, Marketing Technology, CRM administration, or a related role supporting go-to-market teams
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce (Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud) and a major marketing automation platform (e.g., Marketo, Marketing Cloud, or similar), with Salesforce and/or API-based integration experience as a plus
  • Practical experience with modern B2B marketing technology ecosystems (e.g., lead routing and enrichment, ABM, intent, and engagement tools); experience with tools such as Bizible, Marketo, Salesloft, and Adobe DAM is a plus
  • Experience integrating CRM and marketing platforms with downstream and external systems (e.g., analytics, data warehouse/lake, customer communities, learning, or partner tools)
  • Strong understanding of lead and campaign processes, including scoring, routing, lifecycle stages, attribution, and funnel measurement
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data and processes, identify gaps, and propose pragmatic, scalable solutions aligned to business goals
  • Demonstrated success working in Agile or Kanban environments, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and iterative delivery
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Experience creating documentation, process maps, training materials, and enablement content for business users and operations teams
  • Must live in the Vancouver Metro area
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Build a deep understanding of our Salesforce and marketing technology landscape, active programs, key data flows, and lead and campaign management processes. Begin owning a defined set of enhancements or support requests, delivering value while learning our standards and practices.

Six Months: Own core capabilities across our marketing technology stack, serving as a primary systems partner for marketing programs and initiatives. Lead delivery of enhancements from discovery through deployment, and partner with Marketing Operations and Sales Operations to refine lead routing, scoring, and data governance practices. Contribute to roadmap discussions and help prioritize initiatives based on impact and effort.

One Year: Be recognized as a subject matter expert for marketing technology and CRM capabilities that support go-to-market teams. Shape the multi-quarter roadmap for your domain, champion best practices for data quality and process design, and lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance visibility, automation, and scalability across the revenue engine. Mentor peers and stakeholders and help Infoblox continuously modernize its marketing and sales technology ecosystem.
