We are looking for a Senior Business Project manager to oversee the overall project management of the business strategic plan and operational tactical execution by partnering with all levels of the organization. This person will need to be able to identify resources needed, and coordinate work to ensure timely completion of projects.

This role is Hybrid, you must be able to come into Warwick, RI office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fully comprehend the strategic plan and help drive priorities with the leadership team as well as various levels throughout the organization.
  • Prioritize work and ensure implementation details are captured and communicated to all concerned.
  • Identify, secure, and coordinate project implementation using internal and external resources and expertise as appropriate to achieve the objectives.
  • Provide and ensure communication with and between project team and stakeholders at critical points in the implementation of the project plan.
  • Develop return on investment procedures and templates for all project sizes.
  • Develop trust throughout the organization through solid and respectful relationship building.
  • Drive innovation by improving existing processes and developing new processes.
  • Share the responsibility for developing and executing projects and budgets.
  • Overall project transparency and visibility to leadership and project team. Projects will be tactical in nature with the ability to present at strategic/executive level.
  • Monitor project milestones and critical dates to identify risks and issues. Facilitate and create corresponding mitigation plans to ensure the project remains within specified scope and is within time, cost, and quality objectives.
  • Change management: support ongoing change management initiatives through driving positive change in the organization through project delivery.

Skills and Experience Needed:

  • 4 year/Bachelors Degree in a related field
  • 6 years of professional experience in operational and/or business project management
  • Business Process Knowledge – Possess the ability to apply advanced knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures
  • Project Planning – experience creating software project plans within different software methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, RAD, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Superior organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Problem resolution – awareness of the need for problem resolution, the ability to identify and gather the critical resources needed to make decisions. Facilitation skills to bring project teams to an overall consensus
  • Negotiation – ability to reach an understanding, resolve points of difference, or persuade a team to satisfy a project or business need
  • Project Cost Management – an awareness of the need for cost management within the software development lifecycle and participation in the overall effort

The pay range for this position is $117,200 - $175,800 which includes geographic adjustments, where applicable. The pay range is the range THMCC, in good faith, believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting. The hired applicant will be offered pay within the entire range based on the candidate’s geographic location, qualifications, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
