We're investing heavily in AI innovation and transforming how legal work gets done. Our AI-powered solution, Lexis+ AI Protégé, is helping legal teams automate routine tasks, accelerate research, improve productivity and unlock more value from their legal function.
When you join LexisNexis, you'll be selling solutions that are genuinely reshaping the way organisations operate, backed by a globally recognised brand, market-leading content and significant investment in technology and AI.
You'll also enjoy:
- Selling market-leading legal technology, research and AI solutions, including Protégé.
- Joining a business at the forefront of AI innovation and digital transformation.
- Owning a greenfield territory with significant untapped opportunity.
- Uncapped earning potential with a strong commission structure.
- Hybrid flexibility and autonomy to run your territory like your own business.
- A collaborative, high-performing team culture.
- Career progression into leadership and broader commercial opportunities across RELX.
The Opportunity
This is a 100% new business role focused on organisations outside private practice law firms, including banking, financial services, manufacturing, mining, transport, food & beverage and other major corporate sectors across New Zealand.
You'll represent a portfolio of industry-leading solutions including Protégé, LexisNexis' next-generation AI assistant for legal professionals, alongside our market-leading legal research and Practical Guidance platforms.
With more than 1,500 target organisations employing in-house legal teams across New Zealand, the opportunity is significant.
This is a consultative sale focused on helping corporate legal teams and senior business leaders improve productivity, manage risk and make better decisions through technology and AI.
What You'll Be Doing
- Build and manage your own new business pipeline through prospecting, networking and relationship building.
- Identify and engage high-value opportunities within New Zealand's largest corporate organisations.
- Lead complex sales cycles from initial engagement through to close.
- Develop relationships with General Counsel, CFOs, COOs, CEOs and other senior decision makers.

- Represent LexisNexis at industry events, conferences and networking functions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- A proven hunter with a track record of winning new business and building pipeline from scratch.
- Experience selling SaaS, technology, information services, data solutions or other complex B2B products.

- Building strategic relationships within New Zealand's largest corporate organisations.
- Exceeding revenue targets through new customer acquisition.
- Becoming a trusted advisor to legal and business decision makers.
- Expanding LexisNexis' footprint across the corporate market.
