The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a Senior Business Development and Capture Manager to support our Enterprise Digital Experience (EDX) Practice at our Leidos Headquarters in Reston, VA.
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead marketing, communications, and business development initiatives for our Enterprise Digital Experience (EDX) Practice. This senior role will drive the strategy for how our practice positions, communicates, and delivers its repeatable offerings (ROs) across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine strategic marketing acumen with deep business development experience to accelerate the adoption of EDX solutions throughout our federal practice while ensuring our knowledge management approach scales effectively with our growth. This role is ideal for a professional who excels at the intersection of marketing, business development, and knowledge management. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
No initial clearance is required to start; however, you must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. (US Citizenship required).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership
• Develop and execute the EDX Practice's marketing and communication strategy to position the practice as an authority in digital transformation
• Lead the creation and maintenance of our scalable knowledge management framework
• Drive business development initiatives to expand practice reach and impact
• Design and implement internal evangelism programs for EDX capabilities
• Guide the evolution of practice offerings based on market analysis and stakeholder feedback
Marketing & Communications
• Transform complex technical solutions into compelling value propositions
• Oversee development of high-impact multi-channel marketing campaigns and presentations
• Ensure brand consistency and compliance across all practice outputs
• Lead internal and external communication initiatives
• Represent the practice at industry events and internal forums
Business Development
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key internal stakeholders
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities across business units
• Provide strategic guidance for proposal development
• Lead solution positioning and messaging strategy
• Develop and track practice growth metrics
Knowledge Management
• Architect and oversee the practice's knowledge repository
• Establish processes for capturing and sharing best practices
• Lead content strategy for practice documentation and materials
• Ensure knowledge assets meet quality and compliance standards
• Drive continuous improvement of knowledge sharing processes
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree with 12+ years of professional experience; additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• Proven track record of driving adoption of technical solutions.
• Experience with federal government contracting and proposal processes.
• Strong understanding of digital transformation and IT modernization.
• Experience leading go-to-market strategies for advanced capabilities like automation, digital experience, AI, cyber and zero trust, etc.
• Background in knowledge management and content strategy.
• Track record of successful stakeholder engagement.
• Experience leading marketing or business development initiatives.
• Proven ability to distill complex technical topics into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, from technical experts to executive stakeholders.

Pay Range:Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
