As a Senior Business Analyst within the Research Application portfolio team, you will be instrumental in facilitating the digital and editorial transformation at Euromonitor. Your role centres on driving seamless content management and publishing processes, championing system integrations, and ensuring requirements are thoroughly gathered and analysed. You will maintain a prioritised backlog to support development sprints, collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical dependencies, and perform impact analysis and quality assurance. Engaging directly with stakeholders and SCRUM teams, you will help define technical visions and prioritise requirements, playing a crucial part in the success of the Content Publishing Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Management & Publishing: Support large-scale content management initiatives, ensuring workflows align with enterprise publishing standards.
- System Integrations: Define and validate API requirements, collaborating with development teams to ensure seamless platform interoperability.
- Requirements Gathering: Elicit and analyse functional, non-functional, and technical requirements through interviews, workshops, documents, and other discovery methods.
- Backlog Management: Maintain a prioritised, well-groomed backlog to ensure sprint readiness.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with technical and business teams to clarify requirements, acceptance criteria, and resolve dependencies.
- Impact Analysis & QA: Conduct impact assessments for major changes and support QA activities including UAT and validation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with global stakeholders to shape concepts, define technical visions, and evaluate trade-offs.
- Prioritisation: Work with stakeholders and Product Manager to prioritise requirements for upcoming sprints.
- Documentation & Communication: Prepare user documentation and communication materials to support system understanding and adoption.
Requirements
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
- Experience working with global teams and regional stakeholders.
- Proven ability to gather and translate requirements into user stories in an agile environment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail; fluent in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid API knowledge, including defining, consuming, and validating integrations.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, adaptive development environments.
Desirable Attributes
- Experience with CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager or Optimizely.
- Familiarity with charting/data-visualisation tools used in publishing or reporting workflows.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Ability to evaluate and recommend external technologies for integration.
- Degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
