The opportunity
The Łódź Technology Center is part of the global network of Hitachi Energy R&D centers.
The Technology Center specializes in the development of expert applications for transformer design, the creation of innovative technologies and construction solutions, and the optimization and automation of production processes.

Role: Senior Business Analyst – Business Intelligence
Location: Łódź (hybrid)
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be part of a global team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Data Analytics platform and improving global tools and processes.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Contacting business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
- Identifying, documenting, and analyzing business requirements, processes, and workflows.
- Translating business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for technical teams.
- Validating designs that have been created to ensure they align with business requirements and fulfill the future state of the organization.
- Identifying areas for process optimization and efficiency enhancement.
- Recommending process improvements and assisting in their implementation.
- Conducting workshops and training sessions.
- Serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Defining rules, metrics, and quality assessments for both project and operational backlogs.
- Improving data processing efficiency.
Your background:
- Technical Master’s or Bachelor’s degree holder with 4 to 6 years of overall experience.
- Gathering business requirements and designing analytics solutions.
- Understanding fundamental programming principles.
- Being familiar with Business Intelligence, SQL, Data Warehouses, Data Integration, Big Data Solutions, and Streaming processing.
- Demonstrating knowledge of analytics and reporting technologies such as SSAS, SSRS, and Power BI.
- Understanding ETL tools like SSIS, MS Azure Synapse, and ADF.
- Having familiarity with modern project management tools and processes (such as Azure DevOps, Agile, Scrum).
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Possessing strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with business and IT stakeholders in a complex, highly international environment.
