Roles and responsibilities
We are looking for highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer in WB Tech BI and Analytics space. Our teams are responsible for creating and maintaining BI solutions and reports across different product lines such as lending, transaction services , financial markets etc.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Plan all business and technical aspects of different data and analytics systems and platforms. Understand features and properties, ensure data integrity of new and existing tracking, and own the maintenance and administrative functions of these systems and platforms.
- Implement all aspects of BI architecture, turning batch processing, raw application data, and business systems into key business insights.
- Contribute to approval process for database specifications to ensure all agreed standards and protocols are followed and data integrity is preserved.
- Maintain and renew a deep knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, and ensure own work adheres to required standards. OR identify, within the team, patterns of non-compliance with the organization's policies and procedures, and with relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, taking appropriate action to report and resolve these and escalating issues as appropriate.
- Plan and deliver various activities which includes project deliverables, stakeholder engagement to develop effective project working relationships and to ensure that stakeholder needs and concerns are identified and met.
- Validate new or existing complex test methods and procedures; identify issues and recommend improvements to contribute to further development.
- Discuss and recommend technical developments to improve quality of ingestion pipeline and supporting infrastructure to better meet users’ needs.
- Manage workstreams or small projects within a transformational change program, ensuring integration with related projects; use structured change management methodologies to build acceptance of change and embed desired culture and behaviors.
- Deal with a wide spectrum of tech from data warehouses, ETL pipelines, Data Marts, Reports, Daily monitoring, risk activities and more.
- Contribute to strategy and lifecycle management of BI & Analytics implementation.
- Assess the efficiency of end-to-end operational processes by identifying and mitigating risks.
- Collaborate closely with an international team made of IT Leads, Chapter Leads, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, DevOps engineers and Infrastructure Specialists.
- Up to date with the latest industry standards and trends in Data Management
How to succeed

- You have a minimum of 7-10 years relevant experience of working in BI & analytics space.
- You have strong technical analytical skills and experience of visualization in tools such as Power BI/SSRS.
- You have experience with data modelling, data warehousing concepts (SQL)
- You have an experience with various ETL tools such as SSIS to build and clean analytics data sets from large, complex and diverse data sources.
- You have an experience building E2E BI solutions from scratch
- You can contribute to and maintain roadmap of solutions considering current landscape and vision and strategy for the department
- You continuously look for improvements in your solutions and work effectively with cross-functional teams to conceptualize products and services, leveraging data to drive original design ideas and decisions
- You can makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
- You work independently and provides guidance and training to others on analyzing data trends for use in reports to help guide decision
- Experience in more advanced analytics tools and techniques, like R, Spark, data science, machine learning and big data would be beneficial.
- You have experience in IT Risk
- You have an experience in agile way of working
- You have an experience in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment.
What you bring to the team:
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
- Ability to translate functional and non-functional requirements (e.g. Security, High Availability, Performance)
- Understanding of Agile – Scrum methodology is considered a plus.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
