About the Role
We're hiring an engineer who can build scalable backend services, own automated test coverage end-to-end, and use AI-assisted development tools to move faster without cutting corners. This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable owning both the "build it" and "prove it works" sides of the pipeline.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express
- Write and maintain robust automated test suites across API, UI, and integration layers
- Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to support application needs
- Use Git for version control and JIRA for issue tracking as part of daily workflow
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools, specifically Claude Code, to accelerate delivery and improve code quality
What You'll Need
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Solid, hands-on experience with Node.js and Express
- Practical experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Rest-Assured
- Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Proficiency with Git and JIRA
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code preferred)
Skills Required
