We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to make Rossum’s AI-powered document processing platform seamlessly connect with our customers’ systems and workflows.
The role
You’ll be responsible for:
Designing and developing integrations between Rossum and third-party enterprise platforms.
Improving our API capabilities and building middleware for scale.
Working closely with customers and internal teams to understand use cases and deliver tailored solutions.
Ensuring reliability, security, and maintainability of all integration components.
Contributing to cross-functional efforts to enhance automation and data flow.
We value pragmatic problem-solving, clean and maintainable code, and building solutions that scale with customer needs. You’ll work closely with our Product, Platform, and Customer Success teams to ensure integrations deliver real value — fast.
This role is key to fulfilling Rossum’s mission: eliminating manual data entry through intelligent automation.
You should apply if:You’ve built and maintained integrations with enterprise systems like ERPs or CRMs.
You’re comfortable with Python (FastAPI, Flask) and working with RESTful APIs.
You have experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka), webhooks, and event-driven systems.
You understand cloud platforms and have hands-on experience with infrastructure automation.
Bonus if you’ve worked with SaaS products, authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML), or tools like Terraform and GitOps workflows but not a deal-breaker.
