In this critical technical leadership role, you'll design scalable backend systems that power intelligent experiences for thousands of daily users. What Will You Do
- Architect and implement high-performance, scalable backend services that power our AI-driven travel platform
- Design and optimize data models and APIs that enable seamless integration between our AI capabilities and frontend experiences
- Lead technical initiatives across the full development lifecycle, from conceptualization through production deployment
- Build robust infrastructure for data processing, machine learning model integration, and real-time recommendations
- Establish engineering standards for reliability, observability, security, and performance across backend systems
- Mentor engineering team members and drive technical excellence across the organization
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with significant backend systems development
- Expertise in backend technologies such as Java, SprintBoot, Node.js, Python, with mastery in at least in Java
- Experience building and scaling distributed systems in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Proficiency designing REST/GraphQL APIs and micro-services architectures
- Hands-on experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD practices, and containerization technologies
- Experience integrating or implementing AI/ML capabilities into production systems
- Proven track record of technical leadership on complex projects with significant business impact
