Navan AI is creating a new category in travel: an intelligent, conversational AI concierge that supports travelers across their entire journey. We’re rebuilding the travel booking and management experience from the ground up — personal, proactive, and entirely user-centric.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Product Growth Lead to own and build the strategy for how users discover, activate, adopt, and grow with Navan. This is a key leadership role at the intersection of product, AI, lifecycle marketing, design, and growth.You will define the vision and systems that drive user activation and revenue expansion. You’ll shape how our AI engages with users, develop frameworks for ongoing lifecycle communication, design growth moments within the product, and identify new surfaces that attract users into the ecosystem.This role blends analytical thinking, strong product management skills, and creative taste. You’ll manage a small team and work closely with product, UX, engineering, AI, and marketing.What You’ll OwnGrowth Strategy & Execution:
- Build the comprehensive growth strategy across the funnel: traffic, sign-up, activation, adoption, and revenue.
- Build a team that owns CPA and ARPU as primary KPIs, ensuring high-quality activation and meaningful long-term value.
- Define and optimize the onboarding experience to ensure users immediately understand and experience the value of Navan.
- Drive experimentation frameworks and funnel improvements grounded in data.
- Partner with AI teams to build personalized, proactive lifecycle engagement that brings users back into the product at the right moments.
- Develop messaging, triggers, and experiences that deepen connection and increase engagement.
- Create in-product experiences that surprise, delight, and lead to natural advocacy and sharing.
- Own viral and referral growth mechanisms that amplify organic acquisition.
- Identify and own new surfaces—inside and outside the app—that attract and convert high-intent users.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to craft external experiences that strengthen our presence and funnel traffic.
- Lead and develop a small team of growth PMs and/or growth marketers.
- Work closely with product, engineering, design, and analytics to deliver results.
- 5–10+ years of experience in product growth, product management, or growth marketing.
- 2+ years leadership experience managing product or growth marketing teams and guiding strategy.
- Deep analytical skill set with strong experimentation and funnel optimization experience.
- Ability to write clear PRDs, map workflows, and lead cross-functional development.
- Strong creative instincts across content, design, and user experience.
- Experience working with or building AI-driven personalization is a strong advantage.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.
You will shape the growth foundation of a new category-defining product.
You’ll develop the strategies, systems, and experiences that set Navan apart, with autonomy to create and innovate — not execute predefined playbooks.
