Job Requisition: R44095 => Senior Associate, Data Operations - Alternative Investments
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Operations Senior Associate to join our growing Alternative Investments Operations team.
This role is critical to supporting a global follow-the-sun operating model, ensuring investor fund documents are received, retrieved, and prepared for downstream review and extraction teams.
The candidate will be responsible for monitoring client document inflows, navigating GP and investor portals, and ensuring all incoming alternative investment documents are received within established service-level agreements. This position serves as a key operational link between our India-based (UK time shift) review team, helping drive operational efficiency, timeliness, and quality across the document processing lifecycle.
What You Will Do:
Document Monitoring & Retrieval
- Monitor and manage multiple client document inflows throughout the India morning shift to ensure timely identification and processing of incoming documents.
- Maintain ownership of daily document workflows, ensuring all received documents are routed appropriately.
- Track document intake queues to meet operational deadlines, and escalate exceptions, missing documents, or processing issues to management as needed.
Portal Monitoring & Downloads
- Access and navigate alternative investment portals to retrieve investor communications and fund reporting packages.
- Download documents from various portals and ensure all relevant documents are properly staged for review by UK-based team members.
- Maintain documentation of portal credentials and retrieval requirements in accordance with company policies.
Operational Excellence & Global Team Collaboration
- Support a follow-the-sun operating model by ensuring all daily document intake activities are completed prior to India Team (UK shift) handoff.
- Partner closely with the broader team members to ensure seamless workflow continuity across regions.
- Demonstrates strong technical aptitude to quickly learn and adopt new technologies, leverage automation tools, and adapt to evolving operational platforms.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort within intake operations.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Tech savvy with the ability to quickly learn new technology
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel
Preferred:
- Experience within alternative investments or financial services operations.
- Familiarity with GP portals, investor portals, and fund administrator websites.
- Understanding of private equity, hedge fund, real estate, private credit documentation.
