Job Title: Senior Associate - Finance

Location: Coimbatore

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Associate - Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years of accounting experience and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting various accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Ledger Management: Prepare, review, and post journal entries to maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, credit card statements, and inter-company transactions.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budgeting process and assist in financial forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies; assist with internal and external audits.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or relevant certification is preferred.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate finance environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations (GAAP).
  • Proficient in accounting software and financial tools (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems, Excel).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a team.


Skills Required
