Job Description
Job Title: Senior Associate – Quality Assurance
Experience: 5–7 years
Location: Hyderabad
Department: Quality Assurance
Reports To: QA Lead / QA Manager
Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Associate – QA with strong expertise in functional testing and test automation. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute functional and automated test cases based on business and technical requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect management tools.
Contribute to test planning, estimation, and strategy discussions.
Maintain and enhance automation frameworks and scripts.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and support continuous integration and delivery efforts.
Mentor junior QA team members and support knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5–7 years of experience in software QA, with a strong focus on functional and automation testing.
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Ruby, or similar.
Proficiency in writing test cases, test scripts, and working with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr).
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Good to Have:
Experience in Ruby, Java, Selenium.
Experience with Jenkins, LambdaTest, and GitLab
Exposure to API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured or Insomnia
Experience with relational databases and writing SQL queries
