As a Senior Associate, LIS Tool Developer, you will join the Life Insurance Solutions team (LIS) and become a valued contributor to New York Life's Core Modernization initiative. In this role, you'll support the development, testing, and maintenance of an Excel-based scenario testing tool, helping to enhance the way our policy administration system manages retail life insurance products. Your knowledge in Universal Life and/or Whole Life products, strong Excel modeling skills, and clear communication will be essential as we transition to new technology. As part of the Core Modernization program, we need to configure our retail life insurance products into the new policy administration system and verify it generates accurate values throughout the policy lifecycle. To achieve this, we require a scenario testing tool for each product to compare policy values with those from the new system.
As a Senior Associate, LIS Tool Developer, you will play a hands-on role in New York Life's Core Modernization initiative. Your day-to-day work will focus on building, testing, and maintaining Excel-based scenario testing tools tailored for our retail life insurance products. Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
