As a Senior Associate Data Scientist within the Consumer Community Banking Transformation Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Chase Small Business Marketing Analytics by identifying and developing marketable audience opportunities. You will have direct engagement with marketing stakeholders and technology partners to conduct comprehensive data discovery, research, and analysis, ultimately driving the creation of innovative data prototypes that support strategic marketing campaigns. You will demonstrate exceptional analytical and technical expertise, possess outstanding communication skills, and exemplify a collaborative, team-oriented approach to problem-solving and project execution.
Job Responsibilities :
  • Lead the development and refinement of targeted marketing audience segments by leveraging both internal and external data sources, with a focus on optimizing audience selection for Business Banking products and services.
  • Drive analytical optimization of marketing programs across the entire lifecycle-including opportunity identification, audience targeting, campaign testing, performance reporting, and actionable insights generation.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with marketing, analytics, and technology stakeholders; manage the book of work and delivery strategy; and provide expert guidance on strategic initiatives and experimentation to achieve business objective.
  • Collaborate with data & analytics functions (Modeling, Execution and Audience Centers of Excellence).
  • Utilize a dynamic suite of advanced analytics tools, including cloud migration and next-generation analytical applications, to enhance data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Champion the identification and acquisition of critical data assets required to enable effective audience creation, campaign execution, and comprehensive analytical support for business objectives.
  • Investigate complex data or analytical issues, identify root causes, and deliver clear insights and actionable remediation strategies.

Required quaifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Masters in a related field, or bachelor's with 3+ years' experience in a related discipline with Marketing Campaign Development and Analytics experience
  • Proactively identify and secure essential data assets to support robust audience creation, seamless campaign execution, and comprehensive analytics aligned with business objectives. Tangible experience with business strategy and tactical implementation
  • Hands-on experience in delivering analytics and insights to multiple levels of management (Including Test Design, Financials, Conversion/Response Reporting, Response Analysis, Incremental Analysis, Response Profiling and Target/Segmentation Analysis)
  • Proficiency in data analysis languages such as Python, SAS, R, etc.
  • Experience in Cloud based ecosystems such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.
  • Experience in relational databases including proficiency in SQL
  • Strong analytics, interpretive and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated skills in ETL / Data Wrangling tools such as Alteryx, Trifacta, Pentaho, Altair
  • Consulting orientation ability to influence both internal & external business partners
  • Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, concise presentations for senior business leaders

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
  • Experience in full marketing lifecycle including campaign test design, development, implementation and performance analytics.
  • Experience with dynamic and interactive reporting applications such as Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik
