Responsibilities
We’re looking for a talented and proactive Adaptive Planning Developer to join our Workday technology team. In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain scalable solutions within Workday Adaptive Planning, supporting planning, forecasting, and reporting for our global Finance organization.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem solver with strong Adaptive technical skills, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, global environment.
This role requires the ability to work core hours that overlap with the London business day.
What You’ll Do
• Design, configure, and enhance Adaptive models, dimensions, and calculations to meet business planning needs.
• Build and optimize reports, dashboards, and OfficeConnect templates that deliver actionable insights.
• Support integrations between Adaptive and other enterprise systems, ensuring data accuracy and automation.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Adaptive Planning users across global teams.
• Partner with Finance and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Document configurations, processes, and best practices to promote consistency and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, leveraging automation, cloud tools, and AI-driven analytics.
Qualifications
• 10 Years Experience as an Technology Professional.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, including model configuration, reporting, and integrations.
• Strong understanding of FP&A processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Familiarity with Workday Financials, Foundation Data Model (FDM data Framework) and dimensional model used inside Adaptive Planning.
• Proficiency with Adaptive Reporting and OfficeConnect.
• Familiarity with integration technologies or cloud platforms (e.g., Workday EIBs, AWS, or Azure Data Factory).
• Experience supporting global or enterprise-scale Adaptive environments.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.
• Exposure to automation or AI-driven analytics in financial systems.
• A continuous improvement mindset and strong customer-service orientation.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
