Job Summary 

As a Vice President, Product Manager at JPMorgan Chase within Global Customer Platform, you will be an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
 

In this role, you will partner with technology, design, data, operations, and business stakeholders to define outcomes and deliver against a clear roadmap. You will translate client needs into prioritized capabilities, balancing speed to market with reliability and risk-aware delivery. You will use data and customer insights to guide decisions, measure adoption, and continuously improve the product experience. Success requires strong stakeholder management, crisp communication, and disciplined execution across discovery, build, launch, and iteration.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Define product vision and strategy aligned to customer needs, business outcomes, and platform capabilities.
  • Lead discovery and market research to identify problems, validate hypotheses, and convert insights into roadmap priorities.
  • Own the product roadmap and backlog, ensuring clear prioritization, well-defined requirements, and readiness for delivery.
  • Partner with design and engineering to shape solutions, evaluate trade-offs, and deliver releases that meet quality and reliability expectations.
  • Establish success metrics and track outcomes across cost, feature performance, customer experience, risk posture, and reliability.
  • Drive end-to-end launch planning, including stakeholder alignment, release readiness, communications, and post-launch measurement.
  • Incorporate customer feedback and production insights to iterate, address defects, and improve usability and value over time.
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders on scope, timelines, dependencies, and decisions to ensure transparent delivery execution.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills 

  • 8+ years of experience in product management or a closely related domain.
  • Experience leading end-to-end product lifecycle activities (discovery, ideation, requirements definition, delivery, and iteration).
  • Advanced knowledge of product development lifecycle practices, including backlog management and roadmap planning.
  • Experience using data analytics to define product metrics, evaluate performance, and inform prioritization decisions.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into clear problem statements, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, data, and business stakeholders) to deliver product outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready status updates and decision framing.

  • Experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
