Your new role:

The Senior Artworker role is responsible for producing digital artworks, reprographics and colour separations for all print disciplines.

This role is permanent and full-time (40 hours per week) with 3 days in the office in Hull, UK and 2 working from home. We would consider a remote contract for the right candidate (onboarding would take place for a few weeks in the office).

What are the responsibilities of a Senior Artworker?

· Builds artwork files in adherence with the business’ standard working practices & client’s brand rules.

· Ensures Right First Time quality performance is achieved

· Creates print trial files and carries out colour retouching/colour correction for all print disciplines.

· Owns the brand guidelines; including their creation, amendment and periodical review.

· Ensures brand consistency is maintained throughout the full project range across all production locations.

· Represents the artwork production team in the planning of projects.

· Seeks ways to optimise process to improve quality and delivery.

· Participates in root cause and corrective action investigations.

Who are we looking for?

· Experience in packaging artwork production.

· Use of software applications used in artwork packaging production such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Office.

· Detailed understanding of print processes and reprographics application.

· Ability to adapt a design to different components / sizes in keeping with design intent.

· Ability to perform colour retouching for multiple print disciplines.

· Ability to visually inspect two samples and understand what retouching/corrections are needed to get the closest possible match.

· Ability to interpret complex guideline documents.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
