What is the opportunity?
Facilitates Requirement gathering with the business and translates the business requirements into technical specifications for the vendor or internal developers.
Analyzes information technology (IT) requirements in business processes, through requirements elicitation, solutions identification, risk analysis and collaboration across (IT) teams. Applies experience and seasoned knowledge, skills, and practices to perform a variety of assignments.
What will you do?
- Developing documents for IT applications, system specifications and test plans, according to existing standards and methodologies.
- Eliciting the requirements needed to carry out business processes including interviews, intelligence analysis and survey assessments.
- Translating business needs, processes, and procedures into a workable system, and articulating on specific software requirements by communicating about these requirements with technology experts and business stakeholders.
- Working closely with solution architects and other technology staff to deliver project results while implementing risk analysis and meeting required deliverables.
What do you need to succeed?
- Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders and interface groups using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close.
- Be able to manage all aspects of testing, verification, implementation planning and coordination.
- Prepares and delivers presentations to business and technology partners, senior management, and executives by selecting the appropriate approach based on the audience.
- Resolves conflicts/issues and escalates others as appropriate.
Must haves:
- Vendor management experience.
- Proficient knowledge of the life cycle of an application.
- Proficient in technical documentation and training.
Nice to haves:
- Strong knowledge of how APIs work and how to create them.
- Proficient in Jira/Confluence.
- Knowledgeable in the Financial Advisory industry.
