The Job:
As a Senior Analyst, Tax Technology & Automation, you’ll be part of our Finance Tax Compliance & Financial Reporting team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to:
- Responsible for maintaining and supporting existing direct and indirect tax reporting, international computations, and compliance applications, as well as the implementation of new tax technology solutions.
- Assist with the implementation of automation solutions to enhance and streamline existing processes using cutting-edge automation technologies.
- Maintain and support current tax systems and implement enhancements needed resulting from changes in Company profile and/or new tax legislation impacting the Company such as:
- Longview Tax Provision software used for SEC financial reporting (including software updates, required testing, rollover of quarterly and annual data, scenario planning, and excel data input templates).
- Corptax software used for US federal, state, and international compliance.
- DMI software used for reporting ASC 740 uncertain tax positions.
- Any system that will be implemented in the future.
- Serve as administrator for other tax software applications.
- Maintain and support automated solutions developed in Alteryx and PowerBI.
- Support the design and build of additional automated solutions identified by the Tax Department.
- Maintain provision and return legal entity hierarchies and required master data attributes (e.g. Longview Tax Provision, Corptax, Pillar Two solution).
- Support the Tax point of contact for IT and Business Process Owner for SAP Central Finance, ARIBA, S4/HANA and Oracle EPM implementation. Maintain a gap analysis for any Tax requirements that are not a fit for current technology design. Use this gap analysis for solution implementations outside of Central Finance.
- Maintain logical mapping between systems leveraging Diligent software (e.g. trial balance mapping, HFM entity mapping, etc.).
- Obtain a detailed understanding of the tax compliance and provision processes and apply learnings to effectuate change.
- Support the creation of tax process maps, including for the future state Pillar Two provision and compliance processes.
- Collaborate with the Tax, Accounting, IT, FP&A teams, and external advisors to develop and implement technology solutions to improve automation and efficiency of tax processes across the tax organization.
- Support the Tax Department lead on special projects to identify and improve automation and efficiency of tax processes across the global tax organization.
- Liaise between Tax team and IT organization to ensure proper translation of requirements and demands.
- Maintain Tax Department SharePoint site(s).
The Person:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Computer / Data Science, or Information Systems. Advanced degree a plus.
- Tax provision and/or compliance experience a plus.
- Superuser of Onesource, Corptax, Alteryx, PowerBI, SAP, Oracle EPM and HFM a plus.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Excel, Pivot Tables, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Experience with Visio Charts and Business Process Maps.
- Experience with data analytics, data extraction and transformation, data mapping, process design and standardized work development.
- Experience in developing training material and holding training sessions.
- Proven project management and project coordination skills.
