The Senior Sales Operations Analyst plays a critical role in enabling the Sales organization to operate effectively and consistently. This position leads the Sales Event Program, manages centralized sales resources and tools, supports onboarding and internal meetings, and executes cross-functional projects that improve the team’s ability to bring products to market.
This role requires strong program management, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across Sales, Marketing, Culinary, Supply Chain, and other functions. The ideal candidate can balance day-to-day execution with longer-term process improvement in a fast-paced, growing organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Program Management
- Lead the Sales Event Program, including event evaluation, selection, planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and post-event follow-up.
- Manage trade shows, retailer events, sales activations, and other customer-facing events within established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Event Promotions, Sports Marketing, Culinary, Sales, and other cross-functional partners to ensure cohesive event strategies and execution.
- Source and manage vendors and external partners that expand or improve event programming.
- Oversee sample fulfillment and the distribution, deployment, and return of event materials.
- Establish the strategy and deployment plan for large-scale event assets.
- Manage the inventory of physical and digital sales assets in partnership with the Sales Operations Specialist.
- Travel to support priority customer events, trade shows, and sales activations as needed.
Sales Operations and Enablement
- Build and maintain the centralized information hub for the Sales organization, ensuring sales materials, resources, and tools remain current, accurate, and easy to access.
- Administer internal Sales websites and related tools, including content organization and routine updates.
- Manage Sales onboarding for new hires and provide ongoing tools, resources, and support to the broader Sales team.
- Plan and coordinate internal Sales meetings, including agendas, logistics, materials, and follow-up.
- Coordinate training and development programs that strengthen team capabilities and support consistent ways of working.
- Develop and distribute sales collateral, digital assets, templates, and other tools that support key commercial priorities.
Project and Process Management
- Lead selected Sales Operations projects and programs identified by Sales leadership.
- Define project objectives, scope, milestones, responsibilities, and measures of success.
- Manage complex, cross-functional initiatives by coordinating stakeholders, tracking deliverables, identifying risks, and resolving execution gaps.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other partner functions.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve tools, and create more consistent ways of working across the Sales organization.
- Ensure completed programs and processes are documented, communicated, and effectively adopted by the team.
- Sales events are strategically prioritized and executed on time, within budget, and to a consistently high standard.
- Event schedules, cross-functional responsibilities, samples, and assets are proactively managed.
- Sales tools, materials, and internal resources are accurate, current, organized, and readily accessible.
- New employees receive a consistent and effective onboarding experience.
- Internal Sales meetings are well organized and result in clear communication and follow-through.
- Cross-functional projects achieve their objectives, milestones, and intended business outcomes.
- The Sales team is better equipped to execute in market because of improved tools, processes, and operational support.
- Five or more years of experience in sales operations, event management, program management, project management, or a related field; CPG experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience planning and executing trade shows, customer events, meetings, or other large-scale programs.
- Strong project-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, budgets, and deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
- Experience developing and maintaining centralized resources, sales tools, or internal information platforms.
- Proficiency with SharePoint or similar content-management platforms preferred.
- Experience with Wrike or another project-management platform preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel for priority events and meetings.
The position will be based onsite in Walnut Creek, CA. Pay TransparencyThe expected starting salary range for this role is $115,000- $125,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
