Job Title: Senior Analyst -Payroll Operation
Context/Scope:
As part of the Group Reward and Benefits Operations team, you will play a crucial role in developing a high-performing and highly engaged Global Benefits Operations team. Reporting directly to the Assistant Manager - Global Reward and Benefits Operations, your responsibilities will include handling critical activities such as Benefits Purchase Order creation, invoice management and reconciliation, vendor management, report generation and distribution, and query management. Your outstanding customer management, financial control, governance application, and execution skills will be key to the success of these projects. Applying your extensive experience in HR and payroll operations, or HR and payroll service delivery, process engineering, and process simplification, you will implement standard methodology fits processes and data management strategies to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy across multiple regions and time zones., Proficiency in employee communications for benefits programs, ensuring clear and effective dissemination of information. Skilled in benefits process design to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of program administration, Strong analytical skills to assess and improve benefits program performance and outcomes. Expertise in vendor management, encompassing performance monitoring, invoice and payment management, issue resolution, relationship management, and service review and improvement.
a) Financial
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all in-scope reporting activities.
- Regularly review and update Process Steps, Maps, Work Instructions, Benefits Matrices, Benefit Guides, Factsheets, and FAQs. Make them available to relevant teams, conduct necessary training, and ensure consistency and accuracy in all communications materials.
- Perform all CARM controls and data reconciliations, resolving any issues.
- Review and reconcile vendor invoices within agreed timelines to ensure payments are made as per the agreed SLA’s.
b) Leadership Responsibilities
- Leverage insights to find opportunities for process and workflow improvements.
- Apply strong in social skills motivate and align multiple teams, business processes, and data and technical governance.
- Drive significant simplification and efficiency in processes and systems to support the global productivity agenda.
- Ensure all controls and processes meet internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across Diageo and with vendor teams.
c) Purpose of Role
The Global Benefits Operations team supports various benefit processes (e.g., product allowance, car allowance, health insurance) for European markets. The Junior Manager will define, document, and improve both online and offline benefit processes and ensure a successful annual benefit enrollment for the entire European population. The role aims to scope out, document, and enhance the respective processes across Europe, reviewing and updating procedures in accordance with new legislation and regulatory requirements.
