Are you a curious credit professional with a knack for both detailed analysis and operational excellence? Join our dynamic team as a Senior Credit Underwriting & Operations Analyst, where your expertise will be pivotal in shaping our credit decisions and optimizing our operational workflows.
In this high-impact role, you will be a front-line expert, blending deep underwriting skills with a drive to improve and automate processes. You'll partner closely with key stakeholders across Sales, Account Management, Finance and Engineering to ensure our underwriting decisions are sound and our credit processes are seamless and scalable.
What You’ll Do:
- Underwrite commercial credit requests using financial and bank statements, funding/ investment history, commercial credit bureau data and macro/ industry data
- Monitor the credit quality and performance of our portfolio and our risk management policy/ process and provide periodic insights to finance leadership
- Support the continuous evolution of our policies both from a risk management and from a commercial viability and customer experience standpoint
- Work closely with sales, account management, operations and other internal teams to manage credit-related workflow and liaise with customers where necessary to perform diligence
- Partner closely with our internal and external technology partners to continuously driven improvement and innovation in our credit risk management tech stack
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of commercial credit underwriting, ratings or related functional experience
- 1+ years of credit operations experience including system implementation and financial model preparation
- Hands-on experience in development of credit risk management policy and expertise in credit approval framework and policy
- Experience in leveraging internal portfolio, macroeconomic, industry and external data in the development of risk appetite frameworks, credit policies and forward-looking forecasts
- Very strong analytical experience
- Commercial card, B2B credit and or travel industry credit risk management is a plus
- Strong partnership skills and proven success in working with business partners in sales, client management, product and operations
- Hands-on experience in a fintech/ startup environment
- Analytics experience in working with financial and/ or transactional data
- Attention to detail and ability to execute on workflows
For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
