Key Responsibilities:
Channel Profitability & Business Partnering
- Support delivery of channel P&L for Ecommerce, Quick Commerce, and Modern Trade customers.
- Partner with Sales and Key Account teams to evaluate customer profitability and trade investments.
- Identify opportunities to improve gross margin and channel mix through financial analysis and insights.
- Provide financial inputs to support commercial decisions and customer negotiations.
Trade Promotions & Commercial Investments
- Evaluate ROI of promotions and trade schemes across customers and platforms.
- Monitor trade investments to ensure alignment with approved commercial policies.
- Provide insights to improve the effectiveness of promotional spends and drive profitable growth.
Customer Finance & Claims Management
- Manage settlement of trade claims, promotional payouts, and off-invoice schemes.
- Ensure timely closure of No More Claims (NMC) with customers.
- Resolve customer disputes related to claims and reconciliations.
- Maintain strong governance across customer settlements and trade spends.
Collections & Credit Management
- Ensure timely collections from Modern Trade and Ecommerce customers.
- Conduct credit evaluation of new and existing customers.
- Monitor receivables and support recovery plans where required.
- Review provisions for doubtful debts and ensure appropriate financial accounting.
Financial Controls & Reconciliation
- Conduct quarterly reconciliations with key customers to ensure financial accuracy.
- Maintain strong governance across receivables, trade spends, and customer balances.
- Ensure balance sheet hygiene and accurate financial reporting.
Reporting & Commercial Analytics
- Support preparation of monthly financial reviews and balance sheet reporting.
- Drive automation and improvement of commercial MIS and reporting dashboards.
- Provide financial analysis to support commercial strategy and business decisions.
Qualifications & Experience
- CA or MBA (Finance) preferred
- 4-6 years of experience in Commercial Finance, Sales Finance, Business Finance, or Customer Finance roles
- Experience in FMCG, Ecommerce, or Consumer businesses preferred
