The Senior Oracle ERP Business Analyst leads business process design and optimization during enterprise system implementations across all Oracle modules. This role requires hands-on Oracle ERP implementation experience and technical fluency to translate complex business requirements into system configurations, design future-state processes, and ensure successful adoption across business units. This role partners with IT implementation teams and business leaders to maximize the value of Oracle investments through rigorous requirements analysis, multi-module integration, stakeholder management, and change leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oracle ERP Requirements & Configuration
- Document and validate business requirements across all Oracle ERP modules (GL, AP/AR, Procurement, Supply Chain, HCM, etc.)
- Translate business process needs into Oracle system configuration specifications
- Conduct gap-fit analysis during implementations to determine configuration vs. customization trade-offs
- Design future-state processes that align with Oracle standard functionality while addressing business-critical needs
- Manage cross-module integration requirements and data flow
Implementation & Process Design
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders and IT implementation partners
- Create process models and data flow documentation for system builds
- Provide hands-on guidance during system configuration, testing, and deployment phases
- Identify and escalate configuration risks or process design conflicts early
Stakeholder Collaboration & Change Management
- Facilitate alignment between business operations and Oracle implementation timelines
- Present process recommendations and implementation impacts to leadership
- Lead post-go-live process refinement and user enablement
- Support adoption initiatives to ensure smooth operational transitions
Continuous Improvement
- Monitor post-implementation process performance and recommend optimizations
- Identify opportunities to leverage Oracle functionality more effectively
- Document lessons learned and contribute to implementation best practices
Managerial Responsibility
- This position does not have direct reports.
Travel/Shift Requirements
- Minimal travel expected
- Occasional work after normal business hours on an as needed basis

Skills and Abilities
- 5+ years as a business analyst in enterprise environments
- Minimum 3 years Oracle ERP implementation experience across multiple modules (non-negotiable)
- Deep functional knowledge of Oracle modules including GL, AP/AR, Procurement, Supply Chain, HCM, or comparable coverage
- Proficiency with process modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent)
- Proven ability translating business requirements into technical specifications
- Strong facilitation skills for complex, multi-stakeholder consensus-building
- Enterprise change management experience with large-scale system implementations
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
- Knowledge of database design principles and data flow analysis
- Experience with Oracle Cloud implementations preferred
- Exposure to business intelligence/analytics tools preferred
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
