About the Role
The People Team (HR) at Cloudflare is looking for a proactive, highly organized and discreet Senior Administrative Assistant to support three key VP-level HRBP leaders. These leaders are distributed across the US East Coast and London, requiring an admin who can seamlessly bridge time zones and ensure the team is moving in sync.
Reporting to the Global Head of Functional HRBPs (G&A), you will be a true operational partner. You will master complex logistics, handle highly sensitive personnel information with grace and ensure our leaders can focus on supporting Cloudflare's most important asset: our people.
What You'll Do
  • Master the Time-Zone Puzzle/Calendar Tetris: Proactively manage and de-conflict three complex calendars across US Eastern and UK time zones. You understand that a meeting isn't just a time slot - it has context. You will prioritize with purpose, ensuring the VPs are where they need to be, when they need to be there and that breaks, work blocks, etc. are planned.
  • Gatekeeping & Prioritization: Act as the first line of defense for the VPs. You will field internal and external meeting requests and use independent judgment to escalate urgent matters or resolve routine inquiries yourself, ensuring the VPs' time is focused on high-impact work.
  • Global Travel & Logistics: Manage international and domestic travel arrangements and file expense reports, including flights, hotels and visas. Whether it is a trip to another Cloudflare office, an offsite, or a client visit, you will ensure the team is prepared for wherever business takes them.
  • Confidentiality & Discretion: As part of the HRBP function, you will frequently handle sensitive and confidential materials regarding organizational structure and people. Maintaining the highest level of integrity and trust is the cornerstone of this role.
  • Operational Excellence: Go beyond the day-to-day. You will handle expense reports and procurement, but also identify process improvements to make the VPs' offices run more efficiently. You will contribute to ad-hoc projects and help organize team offsites and events.
  • Relationship Building: Serve as a bridge. You will foster strong relationships with other Admins and EAs, cross-functional partners (Finance, Legal) and business leaders to ensure smooth collaboration. You will partner closely with and take some direction from the EA to the Chief People Officer, acting as a culture carrier for the team and embodying all of our Cloudflare Capabilities.

Examples of Desirable Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • Experience: 4+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a high-growth tech environment or a fast-paced corporate setting. Experience supporting multiple VPs simultaneously is highly preferred, as well as experience supporting People Team Leaders or other Leaders in roles with highly sensitive information.
  • Global Mindset: Experience coordinating schedules and logistics across international time zones is a major plus.
  • Discretion: Demonstrated ability to handle the most sensitive information with confidentiality, professionalism and tact.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. You can communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides) is essential. Experience with Workday and travel management tools (like Navan) is a plus.
  • Adaptability: You remain cool under pressure. You are comfortable with a significant volume of tasks and can pivot quickly when priorities change.

Proactive Problem Solver: You don't wait to be told what to do; you anticipate needs (e.g. checking flight times against meeting constraints or prepping materials ahead of a busy week).
Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
  • For New York City and Washington D.C, area, the salary range is approximately: $84K - $116K
