Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Order-to-Cash (O2C) Specialist to manage and oversee the daily operations of the O2C process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and credit control, with a focus on revenue reporting, receivables, and collections. The role requires effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of the O2C process, including complex transactional reconciliations.

  • Ensure adherence to proper accounting methods, policies, and principles for O2C.

• Accounts Receivable and Credit Control:

  • Manage accounts receivable and credit control functions effectively.

  • Drive proactive communication with business stakeholders regarding aging receivables and payment issues.

• Revenue Reporting:

  • Partner with business stakeholders on revenue reporting and provide necessary support for receivables and collections.

• Month-End and Performance Reporting:

  • Provide operational support for month-end closing processes.

  • Generate and review periodic performance reports for senior management.

• Compliance and Controls:

  • Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations related to O2C.

  • Perform periodic self-assessments to maintain adherence to internal controls and guidelines.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Liaise with banks, finance, product teams, new partners, Sales Ops, and sales teams to support business needs.

• Process Improvement:

  • Support new business initiatives and drive continuous process improvements.

  • Maintain a repository of documents and manage external reporting for regulators and auditors.

• Ad-Hoc Assignments:

  • Undertake ad-hoc assignments as communicated by senior management.

• Client and Communication Management:

  • Handle communication challenges with clients, including addressing payment concerns and collection issues.

  • Overcome language barriers and maintain effective communication with clients in local languages.

• Tax and Legal Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations applicable in the Philippines and Singapore.

  • Understand and implement legal requirements related to invoicing.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA / CMA / CPA / ICWA / MBA.

• At least 3-4 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced or e-commerce industry.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with business stakeholders effectively.

• Subject matter expertise in revenue reporting, O2C processes, and collections.

• Strong understanding of business logic and acumen.

• Technology-savvy with the ability to work with systems and analyze large data sets.

• Self-driven with excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple deliverables under tight timelines.

• A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proficiency in the local language for effective client communication.

• In-depth knowledge of tax regulations in the Philippines and Singapore.

• Strong understanding of legal requirements related to invoicing.
