As we continue to grow, we need to bring on board a new Senior Accountant as part of our Finance organization reporting to a corporate - controller. We are looking for a dynamic and responsible self-starter, who is detail-oriented and can work collaboratively with others. Responsible for, but not limited to, APAC financial and Tax Compliances, managing full cycle accounting and reporting, preparing financial analysis of operations, reporting; as well as developing, analyzing, and interpreting statistical and accounting information and report variances as required. We need someone who is energetic, collaborative and innovative, multitasking skills and pays attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Managing all aspects of the month end process globally, including monthly working papers, reconciliations and variance analysis for global entities.
- Preparation of monthly consolidated Chart of Account and reporting.
- Assisting in year-end audits and statutory audits for all entities globally– corporate and subsidiaries
- Manage tax compliance through preparation, filing, payment and reconciliation of advance tax, TDS and GST returns.
- Develop, implement and maintain financial and accounting policies and procedures that enable a robust control environment.
- Assist the Corporate Controller with integration of accounting, reporting and systems for newly setup entities
- Assist the Corporate Controller with ad-hoc reports and special projects
- Liaise with external accountants, tax authorities and auditors for financial and tax audits, litigations etc.
Qualifications:
- Progressively increased responsibilities of 2 plus years of related experience working for a mid-size or public company.
- Qualification: Chartered Accountant, Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- A successful Senior Accountant will have strong technical knowledge in financial reporting, combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles/reporting standards to analyze financial reports
- Proficiency with a cloud-based accounting system, Strong MS Office suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Well organized with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and exposure to ERP Environment
