Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supporting the global consolidation processes including accounting for the impact of foreign exchange rates and elimination of intercompany balances and investment in subsidiaries.
- Identify areas for improvement on internal processes and controls to develop efficiencies within the intercompany and consolidation process.
- Work with regional finance teams to align intercompany accounting policies and procedures.
- Assist with the Company’s SOX 404 program and develop and maintain process and controls documentation as needed.
- Prepare journal entries related to general ledger accounts.
- Working closely with IT for Account Reconciliation Manager (ARM) maintenance as ARM administrator.
- Performing various month-end reconciliations and working to resolve any intercompany discrepancies
- Interface effectively with numerous individuals both inside and outside the Company, including the external auditors, to address and resolve accounting issues.
- Assist with ad-hoc requests and support month-end close and review process.
