Job Description

As a leader at Trucorida, you will report to your account manager as you make leadership and management decisions, problem-solve independently, and resolve arising issues for your teams. Duties and Responsibilities:

· Reporting financial information' providing timely, accurate, and useful information to management for review and decision making

· Working with Principles to communicate and manage financial goals/deadlines for month-end processes

· Performing full balance sheet reconciliation, including substantiation, for monthly close work papers

· Consolidating multi-company financial statements with variance analysis

· Supporting other accounting staff in the creation of annual audits

· Leading staff and junior accountants to ensure deadlines are met

· Interpreting data and identifying trends to influence projects

· Performing revenue reconciliation to carrier and client agreements

Qualifications

· 4+ years of accounting experience

· Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field

· General ledger accounting software experience (Excel, Sage, QuickBooks, Soft Ledger, Travers, etc.)

· Experience in reconciliation controls, managing aged items, and escalating issues

· Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, such as Microsoft Excel

· Experience in insurance accounts receivables

· Facilitate collaboration, establishing, and maintaining strong work relationships

· Recognize and effectively communicate the bigger picture to your teammates

· Multitask, prioritize your work, and stay organized

· Gather and analyze financial data as you escalate issues in a timely manner

· Work in typical office conditions, reading from and entering data into a computer
