We are seeking a Senior Accountant with general ledger experience to work in our Accounting & Finance department to help with the following:

  • Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports for segments of the business.
  • Support accounting operations or complex segments of the general ledger function.
  • Compile and analyze accounting activities to ensure proper recording of financial transactions.
  • Review and verify financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
  • Coordinate accounting matters across departments, ensuring consistent financial reporting and communication.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including advanced journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
  • Provide technical expertise on complex accounting issues and guide the development of improved accounting systems, methods, and controls.
  • Support external and internal audits by preparing detailed analyses and documentation.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Encourage and enforce safe workplace practices and adherence to company safety policies.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA certification preferred.
  • 6 or more years of General Ledger experience or public accounting is ideal
  • Oracle ERP system experience helpful
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and advanced understanding of accounting principles, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of currency exchange rates, intercompany accounting, and financial consolidation.
  • Microsoft Office experience with proficiency in Excel
