Senior Accountant

Overview of Position

Performs reinsurance operations and accounting duties to provide accurate and timely financial and client accounting and reporting to meet internal and external deadlines and achieve departmental goals.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

• Prepare source systems for close activities

• Prepare cover letters and cession statements to be delivered to clients

• Prepare and process monthly and quarterly journals entries

• Prepare account reconciliations and perform follow up activities to clear open items

• Processing/requesting monthly and ad hoc wires to/from clients

• Aid in process improvement in initiatives 

• Develop and maintain process documentation

• Assist in complex analysis for key clients 

What are the requirements needed for this position?

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting and operations experience

• Ability to clearly communicate both oral and written with colleagues and clients

• Advanced knowledge of excel, Microsoft BI, PFI or writing queries

Pay Range:

$54,900.00 - $92,000.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
