We are partnering with our client for a hands-on Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to take ownership of key accounting functions and help support the company's continued growth. This role will have broad exposure across accounting, payroll, subsidiaries, audit, and cross-functional finance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own key aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including invoicing, revenue recognition, accruals, prepaids, and journal entries.

  • Prepare and maintain balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.

  • Manage full-cycle accounting for U.S. and foreign subsidiaries (UK), including intercompany transactions and reconciliations.

  • Process payroll and record payroll-related journal entries and accruals.

  • Partner with HR on payroll, benefits, and compensation-related accounting.

  • Support annual financial audits and corporate tax filings, working with external auditors and advisors.

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting schedules in NetSuite.

  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and systems.

  • Participate in ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a technology or high-growth environment.

  • Prior experience working within Big 4 is preferred.

  • Strong experience with month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and payroll accounting.

  • Experience with U.S. and/or international subsidiary accounting preferred.

  • Strong NetSuite experience required.

  • Familiarity with Expensify, Paylocity, or similar platforms.

  • Experience supporting audits and tax filings.

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a high level of integrity and work ethic.

This individual should be able to balance attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture, build strong cross-functional relationships, and continuously identify ways to improve processes and efficiencies.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
