Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Warsaw, Poland. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with International accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Manage and coordinate the month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS and Polish accounting standards
- Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and tax filings
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions
- Ensure compliance with Polish tax regulations and reporting requirements
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management decisions
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including banks and tax authorities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software
- Knowledge of IFRS and Polish accounting standards
- Demonstrated experience in financial reporting
- Familiarity with Polish tax regulations and reporting requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Fluency in Polish and English (both written and spoken)
