  • Identify opportunities where F5 can create measurable business value beyond immediate product requirements.

  • Drive customer success and long-term relationship growth through proactive engagement and outcome-focused account management.

  • Create and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers including CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, Heads of Infrastructure, Chief Architects, Operations Executives, Risk Leaders, and line-of-business executives.

  • Facilitate executive-to-executive engagement programs, business reviews, innovation workshops, and strategic planning sessions.

  • Communicate business value effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Lead coordinated engagement with strategic VARs, Systems Integrators, Cloud Providers, Service Providers, and Technology Partners to expand influence and accelerate opportunities.

  • Develop joint account strategies with partners that support customer transformation initiatives and deliver mutual business outcomes.

  • Lead virtual account teams across Sales, Solution Engineering, Customer Success, Professional Services, Product Management, Marketing, and Executive Leadership.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Deep understanding of UK Financial Services operating models including Tier 1 banking, building societies, financial market infrastructure providers, challenger banks, fintechs, and payments organisations.

  • Strong knowledge of operational resilience initiatives, third-party risk management, cloud governance, cyber security frameworks, and evolving UK and EU regulatory landscapes.

  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted advisor relationships that extend beyond traditional IT stakeholders into business, operational, risk, and executive functions.

  • Proven ability to lead highly complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities involving multiple buying centres and competing internal priorities.

  • Strong strategic account planning skills including white-space identification, stakeholder mapping, executive engagement planning, and multi-year revenue growth strategy development.

  • Ability to influence decision-making without direct authority while leading virtual account teams and coordinating resources across large matrixed organisations.

  • Proficiency in the MEDDPICC sales methodology (Metrics, Economic Buyer, Decision Criteria, Decision Process, Paper Process, Implicate the Pain, Champion, Competition) to qualify opportunities and drive complex sales cycles in financial services accounts.

  • Experience engaging with executive sponsors and successfully leveraging executive alignment to accelerate business outcomes.

  • Demonstrated ability to create business cases and articulate value in terms of operational efficiency, risk reduction, resilience, business growth, customer experience, and regulatory alignment.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to operate confidently at board, executive, operational, and technical levels.

  • Proven history of collaboration across internal teams and partner ecosystems to achieve customer success.

Experience:

  • Established track record of managing and growing Tier 1 Financial Services accounts with responsibility for complex, multi-million-dollar strategic opportunities.

  • Demonstrated success building executive-level relationships and influencing key business and technology stakeholders within large enterprise organisations.

  • Consistent record of quota overachievement and sustained performance within enterprise software, cloud, security, networking, or infrastructure markets.

  • Experience leading cross-functional virtual account teams and coordinating internal and external stakeholders across complex customer environments.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic account plans that drive long-term account growth and customer advocacy.
