About us

Founded in New Zealand in 2017, Timescapes is a visual progress tracking solution for complex construction projects. Our mission is to simplify construction through shared visibility. Customers love Timescapes because it helps them stay on schedule, validate construction claims and communicate progress more effectively.

We're used by some of the largest construction firms across Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States. It's a fast, intuitive platform that gives site teams continuous visibility of what's actually happening on the ground.

As a Senior Account Executive, you'll be responsible for identifying, developing and closing new business from a named target account list in order to meet or exceed your monthly and quarterly revenue quota.  This will include both new logo customer acquisition and revenue expansion within existing accounts, primarily focused on Tier 1 & 2 general contractors with projects in Queensland.

In addition to selling into individual project teams, you'll focus on multi-threading relationships beyond a single project contact, engaging senior and regional project leadership, and developing the account planning discipline that eventually supports company-wide adoption. You'll work closely with Customer Success to ensure the success of individual projects as you grow your accounts.

Specific Roles & Responsibilities
  • Business Development & Strategic Prospecting: Proactively identify, prospect and self-source new projects within a named list of large, complex target accounts (Tier 1 & 2 General Contractors and/or Owners/Developers), with a heavy initial focus on winning first projects within new logo accounts that align with our Ideal Customer Profile.
  • Account Expansion & Multi-Threading: Grow Timescapes' footprint within your accounts by identifying additional projects and upsell opportunities, and by building relationships with multiple stakeholders across project teams and senior/regional leadership – not relying on a single point of contact.
  • Relationship Building Toward Strategic Accounts: Begin cultivating the deeper, longer-term relationships and head-office awareness laying the groundwork for future Enterprise Wide Agreement conversations as accounts mature.
  • Sales Process & Pipeline Management: Proactively manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline across both short-term project-based and more complex, longer sales cycles, ensuring accurate tracking of leads and opportunities and effectively executing each sales stage from initial contact through to close.
  • Forecasting & Target Achievement: Provide accurate sales forecasts and consistently work towards meeting and exceeding weekly, monthly and quarterly activity, funnel and revenue targets and KPIs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Solutions Consulting, Customer Success and Marketing to support a seamless customer journey – building the cross-functional habits that a strategic, portfolio-level role depends on.
  • CRM Management & Data Quality: Leverage AI tools to accurately maintain and update all sales activities, customer interactions and pipeline information within the CRM (Hubspot) to ensure data integrity, facilitate reporting and support accurate sales forecasting.
  • Industry Knowledge & Networking: Stay current with industry trends, challenges and players across the Australian construction industry. Attend industry events to build connections and uncover opportunities. Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and construction personas, from Project Managers through to senior/regional project leadership.
  • Growth & Mentorship: Actively pursue development including shadowing, account planning frameworks and exposure to enterprise deal structuring – and support the development of more junior Account Executives where appropriate.

  • Demonstrated ability – or clear aptitude and appetite – to build relationships beyond a single point of contact, with genuine interest in progressing toward enterprise agreements.
  • Solid understanding of sales methodologies and qualification frameworks such as BANT.
  • Experience and competence leveraging the CRM and wider sales tech stack to support and enable your sales success.

BenefitsLife at Timescapes

Our team tells us what they value most: the people, the product, the trust, and the opportunity to do work that actually matters. We have built that culture deliberately and we look for it in every hire we make.

We take care of our people. That means an annual Health & Wellbeing allowance, parental leave top-up to 16 weeks, Mental wellbeing support through Clearhead, and a real commitment to your learning and development.

If you are looking for a place where your work ships into the real world, where the team is small enough that your contributions matter, and where the mission is clear, we would love to hear from you.

Our Values

Customer value comes first

Our ability to succeed as a business is directly connected to the value we deliver to customers. To create value for them, we need to first understand them really well.

Act with intent

Great outcomes aren't achieved by accident, but rather through thoughtful and deliberate action. We think critically, and everything that we do, we do for a reason.

1% better every day

While reliability is important, it can also make us complacent. Relentless and rapid improvement is essential if we want to earn the right to keep growing our business. What seems like a small improvement each day compounds over time.

Simple, but not easy

We always strive to achieve simplicity, whether in the solutions we create for customers, the processes we build, or our communications within the company. However, we don't shy away from complexity, and we accept that achieving simplicity requires intense effort.
