Job Purpose

The Security In-Charge is responsible for leading and managing all security operations across the assigned facilities to safeguard the organization's people, property, assets, and information. The role ensures the effective implementation of security policies, procedures, and systems while maintaining a safe working environment through proactive risk management, supervision of security personnel, and continuous monitoring of security infrastructure.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the day-to-day security operations across the assigned sites.

• Manage and coordinate security personnel, ensuring appropriate deployment and shift coverage.

• Prepare and manage duty rosters to ensure adequate staffing at all times.

• Monitor access control procedures at all entry and exit points.

• Oversee the security of the entire premises, including approximately 3–4 acres with multiple access gates.

• Ensure the effective operation and monitoring of CCTV systems, electric fences, alarm systems, and other security equipment.

• Conduct regular inspections of security infrastructure and coordinate timely maintenance or repairs.

• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.

• Conduct routine security patrols and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats.

• Investigate security incidents, accidents, theft, or breaches and prepare detailed incident reports.

• Coordinate emergency response activities and liaise with law enforcement and emergency services when required.

• Ensure compliance with company security standards, legal requirements, and health and safety regulations.

• Monitor contractor and visitor access to company premises.

• Maintain accurate security records, occurrence books, incident logs, and daily security reports.

• Train, mentor, and evaluate security personnel to ensure high levels of professionalism and performance.

• Perform any other duties assigned by management in support of organizational security objectives.

Requirements;

• Minimum of 10–15 years of progressive experience in the security industry.

• Demonstrated experience leading security teams within a large manufacturing, industrial, or corporate environment.

• Experience managing large sites with multiple access control points.

• Proven experience operating and monitoring CCTV systems, electric fences, and other electronic security systems.

• Strong experience in shift planning, roster management, and security reporting.

• Previous experience in organizations such as TPPL, CQB, K45, or similar large-scale operations will be an added advantage.

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in security management, Criminology, Law Enforcement, Public Administration, Military Science, or a related field.

• Professional security certification will be an added advantage.

Skills Required
