Wells Fargo is seeking a Securities Operations Associate to support critical securities operations activities that help ensure the accurate and timely processing of transactions. In this role, you will contribute to operational excellence, risk management, and a seamless client experience while working with business partners across the organization
In this role, you will:
- Perform routine securities operations activities and support the timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Follow established procedures, policies, and controls to complete operational tasks and address routine issues.
- Receive guidance from managers and experienced team members while developing knowledge of securities operations processes and the trade lifecycle.
- Collaborate with peers, business partners, and customers to share information, resolve routine inquiries, and support team objectives.
- Learn and build foundational knowledge of operational functions, including client account onboarding, cash payments, funding operations, custodial services, securities settlement, customer service, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Gather and review information to support issue resolution and day-to-day operational activities.
- Escalate issues, risks, or exceptions as appropriate and assist in resolving low-complexity operational concerns.
- Review time-sensitive documents and transaction requests for completeness and accuracy in accordance with established requirements.
- Support daily securities and cash-related production activities to help meet service, quality, and control standards.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, projects, and implementation activities that support operational effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ months of Securities Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
