You will be responsible for leading resource planning and portfolio management for NA R&D and Global Biscuits & Baked Snacks Technology Platforms, and Chief of Staff for NA R&D LT.
You will drive towards the most efficient and effective deployment of R&D category resources including sharing tools and best practices across regions and categories to reduce time to market.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Owns the resource allocation and master planning (Accolade Nostradamus) process for NA R&D and Global Biscuits & Baked Snacks Technology Platforms, utilizing high quality data from the BUs, Categories and Platforms to make recommendations to prioritize and flow resources most effectively across our organization.
- Provide critical inputs to the overall R&D Portfolio management to help drive effective resource management (People and dollars) to ensure growth sufficiency to deliver strategic plan.
- Make recommendations on tough resource choices with courage to leave "good" ideas on the table to ensure we are managing a balanced portfolio
- Coordinate Transformation activities/impacts towards the Global RDQ site strategy (as required)
- Lead the SP and AC processes for NA R&D and Global Biscuits & Baked Snacks Technology teams
- Oversee the development and management of the NA R&D and Global Biscuits & Baked Snacks Technology budget including monthly forecasts, managing & communicating risks.
- NA governance: supports monthly meeting cadence, provision of information to RDQ leadership, supports senior management reviews, visits and strategy planning (Board of Directors, Growth Week etc.)
- Global Biscuits & Baked Snacks R&D: supports meeting cadence (~monthly connects)
- Facilitate Town Halls and other comms as needed
More about this role
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, Project management or related field required.
- 10-12 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Mondelez's annual planning and budgeting process.
- Complex Global relationships with multiple stakeholders,
- Experience working cross-functionally, and in a range of different R&D disciplines.
- Experience managing a team of direct reports and getting work done through others.
- Excellent program management skills with experience leading and delivering large projects in multiple regions/markets
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive effective discussions with project resources from tactical execution level up to steering committee members
- Deep knowledge of relevant business processes and related technology solutions
- Strong stakeholder management and the ability to positively influence decision making
- Focus on cost-effective innovation in program delivery
- Proven ability in building effective teams across internal and external partners
Salary and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $140,300 to $192,940; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
