You are in charge of an Engineering watch on board of a TSHD, CSD or split barge
-
You will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of all technical installations on board

You carry out duties according to STCW regulation

Maintain and repair the technical equipment on board according to instructions of the Chief Engineer
-
You operate the main and auxiliary machinery and the associated control system
-
You assist the First and Chief engineer for the efficient and safe running maintenance of the equipment
-
You maintain a safe engineering watch
-
You observe the quality, health, safety and environmental system
Your profile
-
You completed a maritime education in Engineering
-
You have a Certificate of Competency Officer in charge of an Engineer watch (III/1) or Second Engineer (III/2)
-
You have an STCW VI/6 Security Awareness or VI/6 Designated Security (preferable)
-
A valid Passport, Seamans Book and Seafarers Medical should be obtained
-
You have a strong awareness of Health, Safety and Environment

You have a hands-on and no nonsense mentality

You speak and write English fluently
