Front-end Software Engineer

To support media companies in their growth in this fast-paced media world, we deliver innovative software solutions on premise or web-based in the cloud that optimize the life cycle of their content across channels and services.

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Software Engineer to join our dynamic product team at MEDIAGENIX. As a key member of our squad, you will contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of our web-based media solution called WHATS’ON Hive. Sounds exactly what you’re looking for? Your challenge

• As a Frontend Software Engineer, you write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• You work with our state-of-the-art technology stack, which is based on React and Typescript, integrating with a Java (Spring Boot, Kotlin) back-end
• You contribute to our product roadmap, to improve the software sold and used by our customers to plan, manage and optimize their linear and video on demand offerings. 
• You will actively contribute to the solution (“how”) based on user stories (“what/why”) along with the team​ 
• You participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the quality of the software solution you’re co-creating.
• We’re stronger together. You collaborate closely with cross-functional squads (consisting of scrum master, product owner, quality engineer, back-end and front-end engineer) – we believe in Agile, and your team is empowered to achieve great result. 

Your interest and skills

• You have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and/or have proven experience with large, agile project development.
• You are proficient in web development technologies, and programming languages and frameworks such as React and Typescript. 
• Practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies (e.g. XP, scrum, Kanban) is an extra, as is experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code 
• The media industry intrigues you. You're eager to help media companies plan, schedule and optimize their offerings thanks to the solution you’ll be building. 
• You enjoy working at home as well as gathering regularly in the office to foster team collaboration.
• Finally, you have strong communication skills in English.
