We’re seeking a talented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to participate in testing multi-platform web applications, mobile devices and smart TVs through automated test writing as well as through other test methodologies.

You will join an experienced and agile team of developers and support staff dedicated to helping healthcare organizations create an outstanding experience for patients in a healthcare setting. This position requires a passion for creative problem-solving, an ability to balance teamwork with autonomy, and a willingness to contribute to all aspects of QA, including browser and mobile user interfaces, server-side business logic, database access, and cloud delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Help to evaluate our currently existing automation framework and test scripts and drive any necessary changes. 
  • Defining, developing, maintaining, and executing the automation of test scripts utilizing various functional frameworks to provide robust test coverage. 
  • Developing an easy-to-understand test coverage matrix and reporting on automation’s successes and failures. 
  • Striving to ensure that User Stories and/or system requirements are satisfied for internal and external application users. 
  • Ensuring automation coverage and test execution are complete during each development cycle and before release.
  • Involvement in new feature automation supporting the development team. 
  • Conducting feasibility studies on comprehensive test plans that drive the automation strategy. 
  • Conducting test-leveling exercises to determine the best test layer to secure code quality. 

What You Bring:  

  • 2+ years of full-time, hands-on SDET experience in an agile environment. 
  • Experience in automating APIs, data testing, web applications, iOS and/or Android mobile apps. 
  • Experience in JS, Web driver IO, Cypress, or Selenium (Python is a plus). 
  • Exposure to automation tools such as Appium, XCTest, Xcode and Android Studio, Sauce Labs, or similar. 
  • Passion and desire to learn best in class test automation process. 
  • Experience with different types of performance testing (load, stress, etc.) 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. 
  • Ability to gain expertise in system-level testing, development and software design and solid working knowledge of automated testing frameworks (Cypress preferred) and coding languages (JavaScript or Java).
