Role – Scrum Master

But now we want to be even better! We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Service Delivery Manager for our Global IT Delivery Centre in India. We are already providing IT services and support to Alfa Laval companies around the world, and we are now expanding our operations to meet future demands.
Alfa Laval has invested in a ‘Global IT Delivery Centre’ in Pune with the vision to expand and deliver IT services as an extension to our global teams located in Sweden, Denmark and the USA. We focus on cost-effective solutions and improved performance to create a unique Alfa Laval experience!
Who are we looking for
We are seeking a seasoned, highly motivated, mid to senior level Scrum Master to join our Supply Chain value stream, supporting both self-managed and vendor-managed development teams within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment. The ideal candidate will be a servant leader and experienced coach, capable of tailoring their approach to meet the needs of teams at different stages of Agile maturity, while driving high-quality delivery and cross-functional collaboration. We are looking for a person with global exposure in working with international teams.

With a blend of leadership, analytical thinking, and a proactive mindset, you excel at driving value delivery and navigating complex challenges with strategic clarity. You thrive in fast-paced environments, balancing competing priorities while keeping teams focused and aligned. Your coaching expertise enables you to support teams across varying levels of Agile maturity, adapting your style to meet them where they are and helping them grow. You bring energy, structure, and a collaborative spirit to everything you do.
Requirements and Responsibilities
What we need:
Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, promoting Agile values and best practices in line with SAFe principles.
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and support SAFe events such as PI Planning, Iteration Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
Comfortable with teams across different locations like Pune, Sweden, Poland and so on. Global exposure and cultural understanding is important to ease the collaboration and efficiency.
Support Agile Release Train (ART) by aligning team-level delivery with ART-level objectives and key milestones.
Coach Agile teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders, adapting coaching styles to suit team maturity levels and organizational context.
Identify and address team-specific challenges, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
Proactively remove impediments, manage dependencies, and help teams maintain a steady delivery pace.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, Release Train Engineers (RTEs), and other Scrum Masters to ensure alignment and transparency.
Promote strong collaboration and shared understanding across self-managed and vendor-managed development teams.
Leverage Agile metrics and tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps, Miro) to provide visibility, track progress, and drive improvements.

Organization-specific SAFe practices and tools tailored to our delivery ecosystem.
Collaborating within a hybrid team model, including best practices for managing relationships between internal and vendor-managed teams.

What we expect:
Qualifications & Experience:
7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, including working in a SAFe or scaled Agile setup.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) and/or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification is required.
Proven experience facilitating Program Increment (PI) Planning and managing PI-related activities.
Strong coaching background with the ability to guide teams of different Agile maturity levels toward higher performance.
Demonstrated experience working with both in-house/self-managed teams and vendor-managed development teams.
Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Work Location: Pune
Working time: CET Shift – 11:30 AM to 08:30 PM
Working Days: 5 days a week (3days WFO, 2 days WFH)
