As a Scientist Application Development (x|f|m), you will bridge customer application needs with internal innovation and product development activities. By generating application-relevant data, evaluating laboratory and bioprocess workflows, and translating customer requirements into scientific project work, you will help shape solutions that create value for our customers and support the development of our filtration portfolio.
Working closely with customers, Product Management, Product Development, scientists, and laboratory experts, you will contribute to the advancement of application-focused solutions and support innovation activities across emerging and established bioprocess applications.
This full-time position is based in Goettingen and involves a 40-hour work week as well as approximately 20% travel.

- Execute experiments, technical tasks, and defined work packages related to laboratory filtration and bioprocess applications
- Analyze experimental data and report scientific results within agreed timelines
- Interpret findings and adjust technical approaches based on experimental outcomes
- Propose and support experiments within defined projects to address customer application needs and support product, application, and technology development priorities
- Contribute scientific expertise to the evaluation of laboratory and bioprocess workflows, including emerging modalities such as mRNA and LNP downstream processing
- Collaborate with customers, scientists, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate application requirements into experimental approaches and ensure alignment with product development priorities
- Translate experimental findings and customer insights into application-related recommendations and development activities within defined projects
- Guide and train less experienced colleagues in projects within the area of expertise
What Will Convince Us

- Proven expertise in a scientific or technical field relevant to laboratory filtration, bioprocessing, biotechnology, biochemistry, biology, chemistry, or a related discipline

- Sound understanding of laboratory and bioprocess workflows, ideally within filtration and/or chromatography applications
