Scheduler (Scheduler)
Locations: Baton Rouge, LA - Hybrid with Training onsite – approx. 6 weeks)
Salary: $16.00 - $17.00/hr. plus benefits
Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00pm, Monday – Friday

About the Scheduler role
The individual who fills this position will be responsible for scheduling appointments for initial, reassessment, and status changes for recipients and applicants. Once the appointments are scheduled an appointment packet will be create, save, and mailed to the recipient Must make phone calls find substitution appointments for assessors and to reschedule appointments. Work side by side with CAS team for scheduling efficiency. The best candidate for this role will be someone who can multi-task through multiple windows and has experience working tight deadlines.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum of one year of scheduling experience preferred
- At least one year’s experience working with older adults or people with disabilities, preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare, elderly, and disabled adult populations preferred
- Knowledge of Medicaid preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and autonomously
Ability to adhere to OAAS and CSS departmental timelines
- Effective time management abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive.
