About this opportunity:
Ericsson is looking for a Regional Team Lead to lead the Field Services Operations (FSO) team in the Sarawak Region, supporting CelcomDigi network operations and maintenance. This role is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, operational excellence, and compliance with safety and performance standards. You will work with minimum supervision, lead on-site teams, coordinate with internal stakeholders and partners, and support the Regional Manager in achieving operational KPIs and customer expectations.
What you will do:
- Lead and manage the regional Field Services team to ensure efficient network operation and maintenance activities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for field operations in the Sabah region, supporting CelcomDigi network performance and service continuity.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise corrective and preventive maintenance activities across assigned sites.
- Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to field teams, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and within SLA targets.
- Monitor daily operations, analyze performance data, and take proactive actions to meet operational KPIs.
- Support the Regional Manager in service delivery, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards and Ericsson MS OHS framework.
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits; ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Supervise and coordinate third-party and subcontractor activities, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and security requirements.
- Manage site access control, physical security compliance, and escalation of any safety or security incidents.
- Foster a results-driven, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
Our Requirements:
- Must have Strong technical background in telecommunications field operations, network maintenance, or related domains.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead teams with minimum supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Experience working with operational KPIs, SLAs, and customer performance targets.
- Good understanding of OHS standards, safety regulations, and site risk management.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, customers, and third-party vendors.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, management skill, leadership skills.
- Willingness to work in field-based environments and handle regional operational responsibilities.
- Experience in leading regional or multi-site field service teams.
- Strong customer-facing experience in telecom operations.
- Demonstrated ability to drive performance improvement and operational excellence.
- Hands-on leadership style with strong accountability and ownership
