We are seeking an SAP Workstream Lead for Procurement to support our ERP Transformation Program.

As the SAP Workstream Lead for Procurement, you will provide workstream leadership, drive process governance, ensure highquality documentation, partner closely with business stakeholders, and manage Process Analysts throughout all phases of the program.

*You will work an onsite schedule at our Corporate Headquarters in East Aurora, NY. 

 

To qualify for the SAP Workstream Lead for Procurement, here is what you will need to bring with you:

  • Typically, a bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline.

  • Over three (3) years of procurement experience in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry; over five (5) years preferred, with working knowledge of SAP.

  • Demonstrated peoplemanagement experience, with a minimum of 2 years directly managing, leading, or coordinating teams.

  • Proven experience working with ERP systems, including process improvement and data gathering/reporting.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate organizational objectives to colleagues, stakeholders, and technical teams.

  • Ability to work effectively with crossfunctional partners (e.g., Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, HR, and IT).

  • Expertise using process modeling tools and methods (e.g., BPMN, Visio, ARIS, Signavio).

  • Deep understanding of ERP concepts, global business processes, and largescale transformation initiatives.

  • Ability to influence, facilitate, and support decisionmaking among GBPOs, functional leads, and SMEs.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a working leader with strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and knowledge of relevant industry frameworks such as ITIL, ISO 22301, ISO 27031, or NIST SP 80034.

  • Must be willing to travel (20%–40%).

  • Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work onsite.

As the SAP Workstream Lead for Procurement , you will be responsible for the following:

Process Governance & Standards

  • Defining, maintaining, and enforcing global process modeling standards, templates, and methodologies.

  • Ensuring all process documentation aligns with governance requirements and enterprise design principles.

  • Deploying standardized SAP S/4HANA processes across Aerospace & Defense that scale to small and large operational sites.

  • Refining and evolving the global SAP template design by applying lessons learned from each phased deployment.

Team Leadership

  • Assigning work to Process Analysts and reviewing deliverables for quality, accuracy, and adherence to standards.

  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing analysts to increase team consistency and process maturity.

  • Assisting and guiding Process Analysts and Subject Matter Experts during all phases of the program: Deploy, Sustain, Enhance, and Upgrade.

  • Providing oversight of crossfunctional training and testing activities within the workstream.

Coordination & Alignment

  • Acting as the central coordination point for consolidating crossfunctional process documentation.

  • Ensuring process designs reflect decisions approved by Global Business Process Owners (GBPOs).

  • Meeting regularly with business stakeholders to confirm SAP design and implementation align with operational needs, key metrics, baseline data, and pain points.

  • Supporting development of the postimplementation strategy for continuous improvement and longterm governance.

Quality Assurance

  • Validating that futurestate process designs meet project objectives, system requirements, and integration needs.

  • Conducting structured reviews to identify process gaps, redundancies, inconsistencies, or design risks.

  • Identifying currentstate baselines and establishing futurestate performance metrics to ensure business outcomes are achieved.

Collaboration

  • Working closely with GBPOs to ensure global standards and decisions are properly represented in the final process design.

  • Partnering with functional leads and Organizational Change Management (OCM) teams to communicate process impacts.

  • Serving as an intermediary between SAP technical teams and business stakeholders to align business requirements with IT capabilities.

  • Ensuring functional requirements are documented clearly and communicated to technical teams.

Testing & Validation Support

  • Overseeing the creation of test scripts based on approved process flows and functional requirements.

  • Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm that system behavior aligns with intended process designs.

  • Assisting in the development of enduser training materials and rollout plans.

  • During site rollout, training endusers and support capability building after golive.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $120,000.00–$145,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
