Your role
In your role as Scrum Master, you’ll promote, coach and safeguard the Scrum/Agile methodology within your team but also actively participate in the continuous improvement of the usage of Scrum methodology within BDR Thermea. As scrum master, you will therefore play a key role in driving our agile transformation. This requires you to work in close partnership with business stakeholders/Product Owners, IT partners and BDR Group IT to support the prioritization and delivery of key business process. You will work with agile methodology, continuously bringing innovation of the IT solutions by supporting delivery of SAP Kernel improvement and roll out across the Group. This role will deliver a significant return to the business through performance improvement and standardization of IT applications all across the Group. Along with the primary responsibility, you will also be successful in the following:

Organize and coordinate your own scrum teams and manage relation/integration with other scrum teams

Schedule and facilitate scrum ceremonies like , sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, refinement and sprint retrospective

Coach your an other teams to become mature DevOps teams

Safeguard and continuously improve our agreed way of working

Support Product Owners in creating and updating User Stories

Play a key role to eliminate blockers and make sure Epic/Feature delivery plan is followed

Keep a clean backlog checking that Epic/Features/PBIs have the right quality and sequencing

Track KPIs of the team like velocity

Lead some training sessions about agile/scrum methodology
Your knowledge, skills, experience and character include
-
You have significant experience in supporting the delivery of IT solutions (BAU, Change Requests, project, country roll-out ) through scrum methodology for at least 5 years

Agile/Scrum and/or SAFe/LeSS certification would be an advantage for the position

Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus

Experience in supporting delivery of ERP Core Model improvement and country roll-out would be positive

Work experience in a relevant industry is highly desired

You are able to build productive working relationships and influence decision-making essential

You have exemplary influencing skills

You work effectively in a multifunctional, multicultural environment: The role requires close cooperation with teams located in Europe and India

You preferably have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
-
You are willing to travel when required up-to 20% of your time (mainly for cross-workstream coordination activities) but will also take advantage of BDR home office policy (2-3d a week)
