Turium AI is looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Technical Consultant to join our growing SAP practice.
This role is ideal for a hands-on SAP technical specialist with strong ABAP development experience and practical exposure to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition environments. You will work closely with functional consultants, architects and business stakeholders to design and deliver scalable, cloud-ready SAP solutions across implementation and transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deliver technical solutions across SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition programs.
- Develop cloud-ready ABAP solutions using ABAP Cloud development principles.
- Build and extend applications and services using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
- Develop and enhance technical objects including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows, where applicable within the S/4HANA Public Cloud environment.
- Develop and work with CDS Views, OData services, APIs and SAP Fiori-enabled solutions.
- Design upgrade-stable extensions in line with SAP clean-core and extensibility principles.
- Work with released SAP APIs, business objects and extension points to deliver compliant custom solutions.
- Support integrations using APIs, OData, IDocs and other SAP integration technologies, depending on the solution architecture.
- Translate functional and business requirements into robust technical designs and development solutions.
- Perform technical design, development, unit testing, troubleshooting and deployment activities.
- Support data migration, system integration testing, user acceptance testing and cutover activities.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks and integration challenges.
- Support custom-code analysis and remediation using tools such as ATC and relevant S/4HANA readiness and simplification tools.
- Collaborate closely with functional consultants, integration teams, architects and project stakeholders.
- Maintain high standards of technical documentation, code quality, security and development governance.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Minimum 10 + years of demonstrated experience working on SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration or transformation projects.
- At least 2 End to end public cloud configuration and implementation is must Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of ABAP Cloud development and clean-core principles.
- Experience with RAP, CDS Views, OData services and SAP Fiori enablement.
- Knowledge of SAP extensibility approaches, including developer extensibility and side-by-side extensibility.
- Experience developing and supporting SAP integrations using APIs, OData, IDocs, RFCs or similar technologies.
- Understanding of S/4HANA technical architecture, development standards and cloud integration patterns.
- Experience with technical troubleshooting, debugging and performance optimisation.
- Strong understanding of the SAP development lifecycle, including design, development, testing and deployment.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and functional teams.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
Immediate start and working from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM IST is mandatory
Highly Desirable
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).
- Experience developing side-by-side extensions or integrations for S/4HANA Cloud.
- Exposure to SAP Integration Suite or other SAP integration services.
- Experience working within large-scale enterprise or digital transformation programs.
- Relevant SAP certifications in S/4HANA Cloud, ABAP Cloud or SAP BTP.
